Making A Purchase

To buy something from this shop, browse the store and add the items you wish to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit/debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta, Electron). If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

When confirmation of order is received, this indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will accept your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.

Delivery Schedule

UK orders will normally be dispatched within 2 working days of receipt of your order but please allow up to 10 working days for delivery.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock and we do not expect any further stock to arrive, then we may offer you the option of another item of similar value and quality, or a refund.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK, 20% VAT applies.

Customs

Due to restrictions now in place we are no longer sending orders outside of UK – this includes Channel Islands.

Returns Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us. We aim to ensure that goods are accurately described. Should any item fail to meet your expectations, simply return it to us within 14 days of receiving it. We guarantee to replace or refund the purchase price.

Right to cancel

While we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us, you do have the right to cancel the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods; or in the event of multiple goods ordered by the consumer in one order and delivered separately, after 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us either by letter to CrossReach Trading Ltd, 47 Milton Road East, Edinburgh, EH15 2SR or by email to webshop@crossreach.org.uk of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. You may use the model cancellation form shown below, but it is not obligatory.
You can also electronically fill in and submit the model cancellation form or any other clear statement on our website shop.crossreach.org.uk using the “Contact us” button. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you in respect of the cancelled item(s), including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –
(a) 14 calendar days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 calendar days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 calendar days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us or at CrossReach Trading Ltd, 47 Milton Road East, Edinburgh, EH15 2SR, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 calendar days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 calendar days has expired.
If you are posting a return from within the UK we recommend that you obtain a proof of posting. If the value of your order is more than £20.00 then we suggest you use an appropriate delivery method..
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
Your rights to return goods are protected by The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
